copper mountain vacationsCopper Mountain is one of Colorado's best kept secrets and home to some of the most loyal return visitors that you'll find anywhere.  One reason why is that the terrain is naturally divided in to sections with Black to the left, Blues in the middle and easy greens on the righ.  Another reason is that every condo buidling in Copper is located right at the mountain.  A third reason is that you're only 15-20 minutes to Vail, or Breckenridge or Keystone should the 2,500 acres of Copper ever get old.

Copper is located in Colorado's Playground - Summit County's 600 square miles - offer year round activities (many right at Copper Mountain) including: downhill skiing, snow boarding, cross-country skiing, tubing, ice skating, sleigh riding, snowmobiling, dog sledding, gambling, hunting, fishing, and more in the winter. Summer offers opportunities for hunting, fishing, gambling, sailing, boating, fishing, horseback riding, biking, gold mine tours, hot air balloon rides, canoeing, kayaking, and much more.

Among the other winter activities, dog sledding is an enjoyable and unique experience. You are permitted to either drive your own sled or sit back and have a guide do the work for you. The sleigh rides are romantic and some almost magical as you take a horse drawn sleigh through the snow covered trees and finish by eating a wonderful meal.

There are four excellent golf courses located in Summit County and another seven in the Vail Valley. Each course has beautiful scenery and challenging holes. Copper Creek Golf Club (located at Copper Mountain), Breckenridge Golf Club, Keystone Ranch Golf Course, and Eagle's Nest Golf Resort are some of the more popular golf courses. One of the perks of the golf courses here is that the reduced air resistance at the high elevations allows your ball to fly greater distances than ever before, leaving you with your new personal record.

Whatever your pleasure, you will be sure to enjoy your visit to Copper Mountain and Summit County Colorado!
